Joe is a Google Certified Teacher, Google Apps Certified Trainer and a Leading Edge Certified Professional Developer. He teaches middle school Math, and Robotics and administers the Google Apps for Education program at Santa Ynez School in Santa Ynez, CA which is about 30 miles north of Santa Barbara. He has been teaching for over 10 years and has more than 20 years of business administration experience.

Joe has presented workshops and seminars for Google, at numerous conferences and schools throughout the country. He received his BA in Biology from UCSB and an MBA and MS in Physiology from UNLV.

In a prior life, Joe was an ergonomic consultant designing workstations to prevent and reduce soft tissue and repetitive strain injuries. He has consulted with the California DMV, Weyerhaeuser, International Paper, and Santa Barbara County. Joe is an expert on back care and has presented workshops on reducing back and neck injuries. He has also designed and developed Pre-work stretching programs to reduce injuries in the workplace.
